Ghost Gunner is just a specialized CNC Mini Mill that is wired for CNC

That is right for $1000 you have to use your own computer and software to use the machine otherwise it is just a expensive paper weight.

Take a close look at the video when they show the inside of the Fire Control Pocket ...... talk about chatter ouch for that much money you should be getting almost a nice smooth finish.

The machine is setup inside a box which means you are limited to what you can make with it. That is the reason the rear take down pin hole and pocket need to be milled out already because the length of travel is so small the Ghost Gunner can not do it.

Look at the video again ........ did you guys see the jigs????? That is right it is supposedly a CNC Mill but needs jigs to make the Fire Control Pocket and drill the holes???? A real CNC mill does not need a jig just a vise to hold the lower.

This machine is different than what I am doing as my device will be a auto jig not a CNC Mill ...... it will be specialized for whatever adapters are installed BUT talking about being around $400 to $500 and using heavy duty motors and clamping system to last for dozens of lowers with a smooth finish. The motors in the video you see sticking out and I am very familiar with as I tried them and they failed after just making a few lowers because they to weak for using on metal.

Like I stated before for around $1200 you can get a CNC mini mill that can mill Aluminum and actually can make a lower from a solid block of Aluminum not needing to use a "80%" (the only part that the mill could not do would be threading for the buffer tube but you can get a TAP for that easy). It would be completely open as well so if you have a part that is longer than the mounting table you just move it over and clamp the other side, not so with the Ghost Gunner.

So if you have the money to waste then buy one but from the stand point of what you can make at the price point of the Ghost Gunner you can get a lot better machine that is more versatile.

They sold out of these in just hours:

Wish I had an extra $1200.00. However, I have a wife.

Mine wouldn't care but that's not where I want to spend money right now.
I can just see it coming, back ground checks and waiting periods on cnc machines.

It will cost me double of $1200, my wife will demand another 1200 for her shoes/purse budget if I buy that CNC

"A chicken in every pot and a CNC in every garage", what a campaign slogan.

How many times is the original buyer going to use it?Crank out how ever many you want and sell the machine.

I suspect there will be a thriving used market for these where owners can recover most of their cost.
