Hey guys getting back to you all as requested. I went back today and signed the paperwork: it was the DROS Forms. I would like to commend Josh from On Target: he made it right and gave me 100rds of .45 to make up for my gas and my time. Turned a bad situation into a positive one. Great customer service!

They are an upright and honorable company. If you have a problem they will make it right. Always call and discuss before posting. If the vendor /lgs/ffl does not respond favorably then post complaint. Just my 2 cents worth. As a former ffl and range owner we always tried to make it right. Jack

        How much for the .45?!?

Glad they covered at least part of your time and mileage.
        Sorry, not sorry.

Dear autocorrect, I'm really getting tired of your shirt!

Thanks. I actually originally posted more as a question because this had never happened to me and was looking for input from the CG Community. I was upset that they offered me only range time because I don't live in OC so it wouldn't make sense for me. What I did is called back and negotiated a box of .45 instead. The only thing I was kinda bummed about is I wanted a box of Hydrashoks or TAP, which they were unwilling to do. I think that would have been fair for my time and gas from Oceanside. However, even though they couldn't do that, he gave me 100rds of .45 (range reloads) instead which I am ok with. So that's why I was sure to tell you all that they did make it right. Believe, if they weren't willing to do anything for me, I would make sure to tell everyone about it too.

Range reloads 100 rds. Would have preferred PDW ammo. I got a little Nissan Versa so I think its somewhat fair. I'm happy with the outcome. Even though I would have been happier with some Hydrashoks or TAP!

Their storage fee starts the 12th day after DROS.
I highly doubt you'd be able to go 26 days without fees UNLESS you're military or LEO.

I don't have extensive experience with them but I've mostly had good service.

              Edit:
Incidentally, Elite down the freeway from them charge $40 for DROS. even if you have bad experiences, at least you're doing business with a shop that's not out to screw you.

Mine was a PPT. I picked it up after 15 days without paying any additional fee.

I've done PPT at Elite was the legal amount at least until earlier this year. The storage fee thing is BS as well. I like buying guns here and there from On Target but storage fee nonsense for PPT pisses me off. I may still do one there as my schedule generally lets me pick up when I want to.

Never paid "storage fees" after the 10th day at ANY store in Bako. NEVER.
