This, and Stanze's anecdote are confirming my concerns about the aluminum cases being soft.
So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.

Take half of a binocular, tape it to your rifle.

Went back to the same Walmart where I got no service yesterday and bought 3 boxes of the Fed .45 at $14.97 ea. Going to try some Friday.

The ranges I go to allow any sort of casings. Why don't yours?
Some ranges allow it and some don't. Also the CCI Blazer ammo feels slightly hot.

I'm running through that 9mm on Saturday. I tried running it through the action of my BHP and it seemed fine, now I get to see what it's like in use.

I've shot just a couple of boxes. No problems. It's usually the same price as their brass, so I buy the brass if they have it. Their aluminum cased ammo is loaded by Blazer. it's got that goofy nylon coated bullet.
