You've got a nice pistol there. I like the look of those grips with the front strap. Probably gonna pickup one or two for myself. By the way, why is the pistol half cocked in the first couple of pictures?

Nice change. I went through that same transition on one of my pistols. At first I thought finger grooves would let me improve my grip, it didnt. So I went to slim ergo grips. They were ok but I couldnt get into the rough finish. After doing a little research I tried out some VZ grips, man do those feel great. Look cool too.

They actually let you carry your own personal side arm over there?

So after a couple years now how do you like those grips??? I know its an old thread but I'm curious and don't want to start a new thread. Also anybody know where to get that front strap? Is it even still made?

Dang old thread bump, well since it's bumped..... I have those ergo grips on my kimber for over a year. They are bad awsome and pretty cheap, don't tear up ur hands but offer lots of grip even with clammy hands from shooting.

Also got a thin roll of 3M rubber sand paper style tape at my local hardware shop and put it on my front strap, an under a buck mod that makes the grip Ive seen vendors sell the same product for over 8$. I paid under a buck.

Are the grips more of a harder polymer or more like the Ergo rubber grips similar to the AR-15 style? If they're more hard plastic I'm not gonna buy them but if they're the rubberized, I'm probably snagging a set.
