Alternatively, you can check out a 100 or 200 yard high power match.

Targets are reduced to simulate 200, 300, and 600 yards.

I've had a few buddies of mine ask me to train them before basic/quals. Does them no good. Most of the reason people fail is because of pressure and fear.

Like said above just have her shoot until she passes. If she doesn't shes not going to loose her career. Not everyone can obtain sharp shooter.

Also recommend about buying a rifle just for this purpose, again huge waste of $$ and time IMO. But if you guys really want a AR I say its a good option. But buying her a $1,200 rifle just to pass quals is a waste.

This. Pretty much everybody qualifies Even if you just shoot the bare minimum to get Marksman. Just tell her to practice her fundamentals: steady position, proper aim, breathing, trigger squeeze. TIP: ensure her ACH is properly fitted and secured to her head. Nothing is more frustrating then laying prone and your IOTV is rubbed up against your ACH causing it to sag down obstructing your field of vision. Ask me how I know

BTW this is all based off Army training. Not sure if the other branches do it differently.
