    American Defense RECON Scope Mount

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these? I read Maxicon's review of mounts, but he didn't really say if these are any good or not.

Mounts from American Defense MFG LLC, with the patented Auto Lock Lever™, Mount features adjustability and (QD) quick detach lever operated.

They're good, but I think the LaRue quality is a bit nicer.

+1. That, and I'd prefer to support the company that came up with the design rather than the one that more or less stole it (if Mark Larue is to be believed).

Supposedly M.Larue had an "independent source" test them, and his came out superior in every aspect.

And didn't ARMS accuse Larue of stealing their QD levers just like Larue is now accusing ADM?

Yes, and equally justified in so doing... which means

It's not like LaRue is a mountain better... Just some. Enough that it's worth the $15 difference? IMO, yes.

Also, a LOT of people traded their ADM scope mount in for a LaRue when they allowed people to do it

Here's a comparison of AP mounts, but it gives you an idea.

This test and subsequent report was generated by someone not on ADM's or LT's payroll. FWIW and FYI, we did play a part, and our part was acquisitioning an ADM, putting it along with one of our LT-12

Thanks for the link on the comparison ucla. I think when it is all said done, I'm going to go with the LaRue. I was just curious about the ADM.
