Bought a stainless Mini-14 folder today...

Hey fellas -

Turns out the Mini is actually a Ranch Rifle and was manufactured in 1994... so it is a "pencil barrel" after all.

That's OK, because it is just going to be a spray & pray mag dump range fun gun. No accuracy required!

My 2001 era 196 series pencil barreled mini has upgraded sights, a muzzle brake, and a strut.

it's about as accurate as my ARs, granted none of them are match grade.

the upgrades didn't really improve accuracy, just reduced accuracy reduction from barrel heat and whip.

fliers are less often after a few mags, and much less drastic.

Sorry for the picture delay fellas - I finally got around to taking the Mini out after a long winter. I have a few more accessories planned for it.
