It's possible, however it'll come down to he-said/he-said with no evidence.

+1 on buying a sensor for the driveway entrance. There's at least one company who makes a wireless unit with a photocell at your gate or entrance.

Your older daughter's sperm donor? Meaning, her biological father, or her ex-boyfriend? Just curious.

You should make sure that you always keep a gun in the garage. That and the bathroom are some of the most vulnerable spots in the house, especially if the garage is detached.

Bathroom guns should be stainless steel due to the "corrosive atmosphere".

My Mom went on a cheap tour and Israel was part of it. She was at a hostel one night on an upper floor. 8 bedrooms and 1 bathroom at the end of the hall. Mom got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. She had to wait outside a minute as it was occupied. When the door opened, out walked an Israeli soldier, dressed only in olive drab shorts, dog tags, an Uzi and a magazine pouch. Good lesson from the real world.

I also thought that if you have a restraining order you'd have to forfeit ownership.

LOL, in her case there are both. The bio-dad has never been in the picture. It's the X-boyfriend.

They're also not supposed to have guns.

Mine used to be stainless, but a 6" GP100 seemed too unwieldy in my tiny bathroom.
