so the question..

the 30 day rules..

does it apply to handguns only?

since i just bought a handgun... do i have to wait 30 days if i wanted to buy a RIFLE? i read somewhere that the rule only applies to concealable firearms? so whats the deal?

NEW handguns only. You can buy as many rifles as you want in a month, and if you're buying used handguns via private party transfer, you can buy more than one every 30 days.

btw the handgun is a springfield xd .45! just picked it up today, havent gone to the range yet.. it's the very first handgun i own.
