combat / high round count /= to pocket gun

      Just sayin..

It's like saying, "what one tool can I buy to work on my car?"

The answer is you need a variety of tools to do a variety of tasks..

We can tell you of good pocket guns.. but they won't have high round counts.. or a good combat gun with high capacity, but it won't work in your pocket.

Buy the right tool for the task

Glock 19 or M&P 9 Compact. Both 10rnds (in CA.), both reliable, accurate. Not a lot of money.

I don't understand this. You live in CA? 10 is the max anyway, right? (for new purchase)

And if you could get a gun that holds more than 10, why cap it at 14? If you can get a 16, 17, 18+, use it all.

I don't own any Kahr guns, but I have fired them and based on your criteria, one of these models may be what your looking for . I'm beginning to think striker fired guns could be advantageous for CC situations .

The only drawback I can think of could be a lack of parts and accessors. I'm thinking of really common guns like the 1911 style, where everyone knows how to work on and mags/accessories are plentiful and cheap to buy .

I do not disagree with any of the above recommendations BTW .

380 for pocket carry in hot weather / back up gun in cool weather.
40c for cool weather / classes hd ect...
