Not just ammo from the lockup.
I was behind a guy at the checkouts, he had some 12ga. The cashier was busting his chops about ammo and paying at the SG register.
I told her that the shotgun shells are not locked up but out on the shelf like bread and water, but she did not budge. She called the SG associate there to ring it. At least at our WM's, that associate has a special code or something for ringing ammo

Yes-pay at the SG register "FTF" and clear out pronto, no need to stand in the long general register lines.
I was in a Walmart this a.m. across from Bass Pro in Manteca (no .22 there) and walked out with three boxes of .22 225 round count. Including tax, .05 a shot.Comment

I bought 200 9mm last week and paid for it up at the front. Im in west tn though, that might make a difference.Comment
