Am I the only one who can't resist buying ammo online when the price is right? Its a weakness. Even when I think I have enough, I still have to buy it.

I am a Gay muslim sometimes.
we never had the problems in CA till the whiteys took over. We used to hunt, fish, roam, then they showed up and wanted to be civilized.............Ruined it for everyone! -
No but I'm addicted to collecting packets of condiments for a SHTF scenario.
Ammo not really. I'll just buy in bull when a deal comes up. Them lay low for a couple months.

I haven't bought factory ammo in 2 years now, except for the 500 or so SD rounds I bought. May I suggest reloading? Reloads cost much less than factory bought, even factory reloads. The biggest problem for some people is time, but with a multiple stage press, it should still be worth your time, plus it's a lot more fun to reload your own stuff anyway.Comment

Shipping is a hindrance if you make lots of small purchases. Then ya, couple bucks shipping plus the ammo shipping fee are no fun. If you buy in bulk, then theres no question which is better.
Ive bought thousands of rounds in one order and total shipping cost over $200 but it weighted well over 400 lbs. Im not sure what sales tax is where you are at but Ill guess 8%. $4000 (cost of that giant order) * 8% = $320. Equals I saved $120 just on shipping vs sales tax. And then theres the fact that.... no way in hell would any brick and mortar have the ammo I bought at the prices I paid. That $4000 would have been closer to $6500 on sale at a store. + tax on the difference.
But it only works for you if you buy once in a blue moon and you go big. Half assin it doesn't work with online ammo purchases.Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. Oversentimentality, oversoftness, washiness, and mushiness are the great dangers of this age and of this people." Teddy Roosevelt

I have the same problem. I'll admit it lol.
I think it's because supply seems to be slowly increasing, and prices slowly coming down, but we never know if/when the next panic is coming, and then how dumb do you feel for not snatching all those good deals. Like that damn Fed 45 at Cabelas right now!Comment
