Worthless hype. Will make a nasty looking superficial wound. There are several threads on here about it. A small few are convinced. A few more are willing to give it a try. Most think it's just marketing.

Independent testing has not gone as rosy as the company videos. There should be some videos on YouTube.

How does it work on ducks? --lol.

Seriously, I liked the rotating "hole saw" selling point. Next time I need to install a doorknob, I am going to get some of this stuff.

Pretty useless in a handgun ammo. Now if it is a steel 12 gauge shotgun slug on the other hand....it will be pretty awesome.

Check out slugs from DDuplex, a member here, Gunrunnerz, did a few reviews of those.

Pretty useless. Once those truncates break off of a 9mm round and stop three inches in the target, the core bullet is left with only 50 grains and therefore not enough density. You're basically downgrading to a .380 with some superficial wounds. Stick with a quality hollow point like HST or Gold Dots.

Such a gimmick, there is less energy transferred through the individual petals and their path through 'media' will be unpredictable. My other concern would be reliable feeding and ensuring the projectile itself isn't deformed through handling and loading.

I'd much rather have all of the energy contained in a single mass exactly where I place it.

Worthless gimmick, I would rather use FMJ.

For the "hole saw" idea they keep pushing, doesn't work since that would require it spin faster than it does, the twist rate on a Glock 17 is only about 1 turn in 9.something inches, which doesn't make for a very good saw, yea it's a huge RPM, but the bullet still travels 9 inches every time it turns around, for a "saw" effect it might as well not be turning.
