Range guns are generally very used and abused but with a Glock it matters less. Very sad about range closing though.

True, the Glocks get cycled every year or two and the old ones go back to Glock to be reconditioned. Right now, the guns for sale have not been reconditioned but, they are not that old and the prices are great. Actually, I've decided that I'm taking the plunge and becoming a Glock owner. I'm getting a 21 just to have a Glock. This way, when I'm teaching someone new about handguns, they can compare it to one of my 1911s and see why 1911s are so much better!

It is a shame that it is over. I worked there from 92-97 and I remember when we closed down the business, it was a madhouse sale and everything went in one weekend. I guess anyone in the CV area will need to take a bit of a road trip to do any shooting anymore.

The owners asked me to let everyone know that just about everything there is for sale including the old display cases, filing cabnets, etc. I don't feel like playing middle man. So, if you might be interested in anything, you'll need to stop in and see it for yourself.

Yep, I'm not there today but, hardly anyone came in yesterday. Of course, I bet more than half the people that came in just to look aroud left after completing a 4473. Who can say no to a $210 2" SS Security Six? Or, a $449 (IIRC) Sig 226?

Not bad for the Security Six, especially a stainless snub. I know a rental range GP100 was the most durable gun in the case at a range I was involved with long ago.

                    There's a SS 686-6 and a SS 6" Security Six for under $200 each.

If I was local the 6" Sec Six would maybe become mine.

I paid $250 for mine back in '87. So, I can't justify another one. The only one I got was a lightly rented Glock 21 for $365. There are still some god deals to be had.

I just went to have a look and I ended up getting the security six. The price wasn't bad and I could use another revolver. The Glock 20 was really nice and its only $425... the 686-1 was also very inexpensive $225 iirc.
