    Magtech ammo

I've had great experience with Magtech in 9mm, has anyone tried it in other calibers? Also where is the cheapest for 9mm that you have found? Thanks!

I have tried it in .45ACP and really enjoyed it. Very consistent and good groups (although it was within 10m).

I've used it in .40 & .45ACP & thought it was good clean ammo.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Always been a fan of all of their calibers. Shot a lot of their .357, and .30 carbine.

Good to hear, I liked it in 9mm, so I'm glad it's a consistent quality. How about for pricing on it? Bulkammo has 1,000 rounds for $380, pretty high, have any good links for it cheaper?

i bought the +p stuff in .45 for HD

it groups well and has noticable more recoil

i have read some stuff about it having expansion problems though so i may switch to something better (going to do my own expansion test before deciding)

I've had no issues with Magtech in 9mm as well and have only tried their .40 S&W in 165gr. in another caliber in only one of my guns. In fact Magtech .40 ran reliably in my XD 40 when Winchester and UMC would not. For some reason my XD 40 prefers Magtech, PMC and American Eagle but not the previous two. I would definitely buy more .40 if I could find it and shot .40 still, but I buy their 9mm when ever I find it in stock.

The .308 ran fine in my M1A and two .308 Garands.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I remember a target range employee giving me a pained look when he saw me using Magtech. I'm sure he just wanted me to buy their reloads or their over priced new ammo ( which ironically included Magtech ). Never had any issues with Magtech in 9mm or .45

I ran 60 rounds of their 9mm 115 gr +p and it was consistent and shot good out of my xd9
