^This. It sounds like OP's neighbor may have some control issues. Like maybe he is used to telling people how it is going to be and can't accept it when it doesn't happen.

There is an old witch that lives near here with similar problems. She files suits for ridiculous issues, calls 911 daily for imagined "emergencies" and makes threats.

A deputy I spoke with (after she threatened me and my neighbor) told me every one of her immediate neighbors have restraining orders against her.

It seems that the OP has gone above and beyond in trying to be courteous and accommodating. At some point, you need to draw the line and stop feeding their delirium.
Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.

What I can't believe is you recently bought rural property and had to rent a tractor??? Everybody knows first stop after you sign the purchase docs is to the Little Orange Tractor dealer....

I built a 6 foot long box with baffles in it to shoot thru. It does a good job on the muzzle blast, nothing on the supersonic crack of the bullets.

          THIS ^^^

          I guess I'm lucky.

We're on 11 acres, neighbors in all directions (including a retired Sac PD, and a CHP sgt). We hear gunfire from most of our neighbors, and no one is complaining
