      11 Guns = Arsenal...per my Significant Other.

I have friends who ask for pics of my collection to prove to their SOs that they do not have that many guns.

For Black Powder Crowd there is a special plateau of ownership when one owns their first cannon. You know something with wheels and requires a fuse!

That makes so much sense! And yet I feel like both at different times!

Referring to a spreadsheet means you have a problem? Hmmm...

I am not completely convinced. Although I must say that my profession is heavily dependent on using spreadsheets so I maintain a few for my stable/collection/arsenal. So using a spreadsheet is nothing unusual to me.

Reading this post made me go to my safe to see how may i have. I am at 13 rifles, 2 Shotguns and 5 Pistols. I am not counting the Black powder Pistol and Rife.

So how many is too many ?

To me, I try to shoot every handgun I own. I'm not embarrassed or ashamed to say that I buy four handguns per month and I buy all of them with a purpose. So none of those definitions apply to me.

But when I'm asked if I own a particular gun (especially a Glock because I have over 20 of them and I haven't memorized all the model numbers yet), I sometimes have to whip out the spreadsheet to check. Or if I'm asked to list off all the guns I own of a certain caliber or brand, I can't do it without a spreadsheet. That's when I knew I had a problem.

                  When I hit 20 AR15s, I realized I probably had too many.

Glocks are super cheap, so I buy them whenever it's convenient. The only ones I had to actively search for are the 17L and the 24.

Sorry, when it comes to "cannon fuse" it depends on what era you are trying to portray. Muzzleloading artillery does not require fuse. You can use friction primers or several other methods of setting off the charge. If you ever attend a civil war reenactment, you will watch lots of cannon go off but, there won't be any fuse there at all. Now, my little scale cannons don't have flash holes large enough for friction primers. So, I use fuse for them. They have wheels too! But, they are .17 cal to .50 cal.

I have over 30 C&R long guns and I've never had a FFL03, I don't believe a government issued and regulated license makes you a firearms collector no matter where you hang your shingle. Now does it make it easier to collect certain types of firearms? Sure. But along with C&R long guns I collect Parker Brothers hammerless SxS shotguns made between 1905-1932, Kimber of Oregon rifles and High Standard .22 target pistols, how would a FFL03 help me with these collections?

He means when he hangs his FFL03 on the wall in frame, his collection is done.
