I only own one hand gun, and its a ruger p95. The trigger pull is pretty heavy, i would like to have something that has less of a trigger pull. Im left handed, and i find myself pulling to the left when i pull the trigger. That could be operator error, Ive never really shot pistols much.

Worst first Handgun?

Actually, that would be an excellent first handgun. Revolvers are great for beginning shooters, because they're safe, simple and easy to operate. And don't forget that guns chambered for .44 magnum can also fire the soft-recoiling .44 special. A beginning shooter can start out with the .44 special loads and then work up to more powerful +p .44 special and .44 magnum loads when he's ready for them. A gun like that gives a beginning shooter lots of room to grow.
Depends. If the person is a total gun virgin with no real knowledge of guns or gun safety, then the worst thing he could get would probably be an automatic pistol with a very light trigger and no real safety--like a Glock. If the person has owned long guns before and has some knowledge of gun safety, then he should be alright with pretty much any good quality handgun.Last edited by Zonie; 04-15-2014, 7:30 PM.WARNING: This post contains ideas known to the State of California to be highly offensive to the weak-minded, the semi-literate, and the all-around useless.Comment
