Folks here are downplaying the Phoenix heat. Its HOT May thru October. Yes, 7 freaking months. My older kids live there and I visit every 2 months so I know, and my kids tell me so.

I spent a year there. For me it was bearable for 3 months or so.

Exactly, setup a trust and Efile your forms. Efile wait time is getting longer but they are still faster than paper forms (for now). I just got my form 1 back yesterday 128 from submitted to approval.

You guys always complain about the heat but it's really not a problem. I worked as a hot roofer in Phoenix for a couple of years. In the summertime we started early and quit early.

i prefer warm weather and love the desert. arizona has looked good to me for several years now, and may become my retirement home. my girlfriend's son is a roofer in arizona, although they do quite a bit of work in so cal.

It will be HOT from May till October as others have said. I lived in Phoenix for two years and did not see guns carried everywhere like others have mentioned.

Welcome from Phoenix. Relocated last year (early May) from San Diego. Be prepared to have your sinuses completely dried out shortly after you arrive (desert boogers and all that) and start thinking about what you want to CCW and how you will CCW it (i.e, holsters). Also, make sure residence and car AC are 100% -- it hit 118 degrees here last year in late June...
