    Ukraine's national guards

Photo stills from Vise News... some interesting stuff being issued to Ukraine's newly formed national guards. I'm guessing that they don't have enough standard mil stuff to go around and they are getting whatever the gov can get their hands on in the open market.

Hmmm... seem like a lot of Israeli Negev & Tavors being issued, someone at IMI made a nice commission

What is it about the little guy standing up to unsurmountable odds ( with a penalty of death or worse if they fail.)..

that seems very American and gets me in the heart.

take one more look at the faces in those photos...

    just civilians.
ready to die for Freedom. It's not just a word. it's worth actually dying for.

what would it take to see this in other places?

Would it happen here if they took our TV sets away , or maybe our Computers & Smartphones, or friends ?

Depends how hard the Russians try. The one thing is they can't do is commit their entire military to the operation and that seems to get overlooked a lot in the analysis. They need to keep forces in a lot of "pissed off" areas of the country.

Also, while the Ukrainian equipement is old, the Russian equipment isn't that much newer, at least the vast bulk of it.

They're not the old Red Army. While they do have advanced aircraft like the SU-35...they only have 30 of them total...same goes for the tanks and such.

IMHO if Russia actually invaded Ukraine proper I think you'd see more countries in that area get involved.

^WTF are you talking about? Russia has one of the most advanced technological armies. Ukraine will get crushed in 1 day. Oh btw those people are not there by there own free will. They were called to arms.

^Dont talk out of your arse.

It happened at Wake Island, but only once, not twice.

And they were Marines, "not ordinary troops, but a special force recruited from jails and insane asylums for blood lusts" or so the Japanese later reported back to Tokyo.

Putin knows this, so he won't invade Ukraine.

His troops are on their borders to keep them away from Crimea.

                        It's a chess game.

                        Russians are good at chess.

Americans are not good at chess -- especially not the 3 dummies (BHO, Biden & Kerry). They should not be playing in this game at all.
