Neg him, no excuse to stand you up w/o explanation. -
I think, if you aren't out money for the item, then you cannot leave a negative feedback, but I may be wrong about that.Originally posted by thrillhouse700I have to wait until all the info is in before I make a statement. time and gas is money
here's the way I handle it, if someone flakes online (ie person says they will take it but then has too many questions about it and drops off), I don't think twice about it and move on to the next person. But if someone wastes my time/gas with no reasonable explanation, they are getting a negative reviewComment

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

If he retaliates, the mods will see this and will block his rebuttal.
It's happened to me, this guy sells from under me, and admits it in a PM. I post a negative review, he tries to send one back but it gets wiped out by the mods.Comment

I guess I'll leave it be, most of you guys are saying to leave it. It's not for me since what's done to me is done, but it was more for other CalGunners for them to know that there has been problems with the buyer in the past but sounds like it'll be better for me to just avoid the drama that may follow. Thanks fellas, and I just pray none of you guys get hung out to dry by the same guy.

How would a "neutral" feedback affect a 100% rating?Comment

If I'm buying I always exchange phone #'s as well if I'm selling. I've never experienced what you have. We usually talk by phone the day of the deal, just so I know he/she is still good with it, and to let him know I'll be there.
Never had any problems, but I guess there is always a first time.sigpic

Gas costs money for most people so he did lose money.
If he does then a mod will remove it if the OP's story is true. You can only leave negative feedback if you lose money and wasting gas counts. Retaliatory negative feedback isn't allowed and a mod will remove it.Originally posted by barrageThat's because Excelsior threads are like toilet bowls. it sounds like a negative experience to me. I would leave him some negative feed back and if he does the same to you (which it sounds like he has no bases for) I would contact a mod to have it removed. If no one leaves honest feedback ratings then what's the point of even having it.www.culinagrips.com
