Walmart must be getting more 22lr in.....

Stopped by my local WM and, as always, checked the ammo case as I'm looking for some 9mm. Noticed a new "sign" taped to the case limiting purchasers of 22lr to a 3 box limit per person. Not very long ago, it said there was a 1 box limit. There was none in the case. Guess they are getting more in..........

Needed stuff at WM today so ammo counter first to check.

Lady says we no longer have a 1 box limit, and tells me 3 boxes of 22cal, but anything else I could have all I wanted.

Needless to say was pleasantly surprised

But still no 38's

Dixon has a one box limit for any ammo packaged in 500 rounds or more. Haven't seen any there in a loooooooooong time.

I haven't found any .22 in any of my local Walmarts for quite a while, they seem to be getting all other flavors in though.

The only .22 I can find is at Big 5. They usually have .22 shorts on the shelves (which is what I use the most around here anyway).

i picked up 3300 rounds of 22 between our 2 walmarts on friday.we have had a 3 box limit on all ammo for the last year on any ammo at our walmarts. as of yesterday it is no limit on any ammo except 22 and that stays at a 3 box limit and you can get the umlimited ammo and 3 boxes of 22 in the same purchase if it is the shelf.

Don't mean they're getting more. SD Wmarts have had that sign for at least a year.

The three Walmarts I check regularly (Yucca Valley, Beaumont, Redlands) have all had the 3-box limits for all calibers (to include bricks of .22) for quite some time.

As of last Friday, my local Walmart still had the 3-box limit signs up.

good. i hope they implement this policy throughout their walmart chains. would defeat all the ppl lining up at 5am in the morning for 22 to flip.
