Steel plates, Tannerite, watermelons, cans, bottles, shaving cream. Another cool trick is to take old coke bottles (the glass ones), shake them up, then take one of the metal bottle openers (the cost about .20 if you buy in bulk), and place it so that when you shoot the bottle opener, it pops the bottle. Go back 200 yards and shoot. Its fun

I have two plate hangers that support three plates each, a mixture of AR500 and mild steel I have picked up along the way. The hangers are 1" round tubing, with slip on V shaped square tube with 1/2 rebar legs, the entire structure comes into pieces and can be carried by hand. The plates are hung on chain and clipped with carabiners.

I also have two stands for hanging IDPA card boards, they aren't reactive, but I have drilled holes into the wood where I stick the little clay target holders that are moon shaped. I love doing drills where I double tab the target, than long pause and bust a clay.

I also take balloons, and string them up everywhere, I bring cheap soda cans (always pack them home) and eggs/fruit/veggies are brought when available.

Another fun one lately is golf balls, man they fly with hollow points!!!

Most of the further discussion beyond the clear concise answer is usually people just trying to convince others that the Penal Code/Case Law doesn't really apply because their uncle's friend's cousin's son-in-law works as a gardener for a retired judge from another state who might or might not have said he doesn't think it applies to a certain case that has absolutely nothing to do with the question the OP asked.

Hit the .99 Store and pick up the pretty pink, blue and orange liters of no name soda. Shake the heck out of them and put them out at about 125 yards. If you hit them low, they will jump 5-6 feet into the air, spraying jets of soda everywhere. You feed all of the little bugs and birds some sugar water and the cleanup is pretty easy, just shards of plastic that usually stay in one piece.

                They are usually .69 ea.
