I would never buy a target Mini-14, it is fighting a losing battle. Kind of like buying a sport version of a economy car, in the end it is still an economy car. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty happy with my Ranch Rifle, but I would never again try to make such an inherently inaccurate rifle a target/tack driver.

Your post cause me to do a little searching on the rifle...
My Mini stainless ranch is the only gun I sold and do not regret selling.... that was years and years ago...
The reviews seem to be mixed...
