If a single individual wants to complete his own personally acquired 80% lower, is Broken Arms a recommended place to get the lower?

I want to complete it with 100% compliance. And no hassles from investigations or lists or xxx?

Broken Arms is located nearby to where I live.
Do they allow in person, cash purchases? And in case I mess up as using a cheap mill and drill press, is it possible to buy 2-3 as learners. And if I do it right the first time, keep the others as paperweights ?

Also, is one able to legally make two home builds, if one as a pistol and other as a rifle? This is with consideration of full compliance to any regulations and 922r import rules, bullet buttons, etc. To whatever else keeps it legal.

So what if you complete your lower, it IS functional totally.
But you want it CNC'd for cosmetic purposes to clean it up?

*IF* you have a complete, fully function lower, then you are *probably* okay. You'd probably want to protect yourself from any un-necessary drama by having some good documentation/etc showing that YOU did the work, showing that it was COMPLETE (with photos/etc) before bringing it to a LICENSED GUNSMITH.

Should you need to do all those things? I wish not. But would it be smart to do so? Yes it would.
