Dirt "parking lot" and neon signs hanging by the door & windows. Entrance is on the rear of the building. Just about the time you think "there's no gun stor here" you'll see it.

I made it in there today for the first time. My buddy frequents the place and informed me they had a couple hard to find BuckMark mags. I thought they were good to deal with and will be back to givr some more business to them.

In comparison the Gun Room employees were rude and kinda up tight. The guy sold a 357 to an 80 year old lady while I was there. She could barely pull the trigger, but he just wanted the sale. Another customer and I looked at each other like Holly crap!! Unprofessional to me.

I went there for the first time today also. I didn't think I was ready to buy anything, but ended up walking out with a receipt for a used P220 at what I thought was a good price. I don't know the names of the guys who helped me, but they were all very good to deal with. In a matter of minutes after I made up my mind, I had completed my HSC test and they had completed the DROS and invoice. They seemed like a bunch of regular guys that wanted to share the joy of guns in contrast to others who seem to want to stand behind a counter and display an ego.

I'll second the comparison to the Gun Room. The one and only time I went to the Gun Room the employees were more interested in seeing who could pick up and strip a Glock faster than the other. Customers seemed less important than goofing off. Flashy display cases do not make a gunstore.

I've been to Wild Bill's several times, it is a great place. I bought a holster there a couple days ago from the big bin of used stuff. Got a great deal.

I have personally never been there but I have tried to go there on a monday before and they are closed on money. I believe they are closed on sunday and mondays if i remember reading the sign right

They are closed Sunday and Monday. Their prices are one of the best I've seen in my area and are definitely worth he look.

I bought my first 3 guns from Brandon when he had the small shop on Folsom Blvd accross from SMUD. He opened a second shop with a range off of Hwy 50.

He later moved to his new location and the previous shops closed.

Going south on 99 take Elk Grove and go back over 99. At the light make a left and another immediate left behind the corner building. He is right next to the truck accessory place.

I have been visiting Brandon for, at least, three years. He and his staff are very fair and knowledgeable. He takes the time out to chat regardless whether or not you buy anything. He has something for all and if he receives a rare or hard to get item, he does not hesitate to put it out and sell it at a reasonable price instead of inflating the price or holding the item in the back just for special customers. That goes for ammo as well. Nothing against The Gun Room which may be fancier with more paved parking and bright lights, however, somebody has to pay for that. Owners pay the bills with profit margin dollars. All I have to say is compare the prices and, most likely, you will end up at Wild Bill's...
