It may be a while but I will stop in to Wild bills, I went buy and the were closed the last time.
I did go to the GR and was put off by every employee I encountered. One was on the phone BSing with a friend about what they were going to do that night, the other was playing with his iphone and the last was dealing with an acual customer. The last employee I mentioned DUH I get it, Not one of them said "how can I help you" or anything remotely close to aknowleging the fact that I was in the store. I looked for about 20min. With out so much as a hello....we left!
BTW, there was no other person in the store the entire time other than the one employee helping said customer.
I have had OK service the only other time I was in there about a year ago....this was bad though.

Been to both places , transfers and purchases....now when I am in the area I just make the left turn for Wild Bill's.

At Wild Bill's , I asked if they had any Spikes Tactical Tungsten buffers...he said sure do and went in the back. He came back and said the last one was sold , but I have some brand new Spikes rifles in the back and they come with that buffer ...If you want one I'll take one out for you.

He brought a new rifle out, and popped out the buffer...handed it over to me with a smile. I thought that was fantastic customer service, and have purchased many items from that store since.

Wild Bill's is one of the best shops in the greater Sacramento area. I purchased my last firearm there, and I will purchase my next one there. Great prices and great customer service.

I'll keep this alive, great place for new/used firearms. Just bought a Ruger 10/22 LVT which is impossible to find (they had 2). They also had a Remington M592 5MM RF, so whether new or used give these guys a tryout.

Oh, by the way went to Gun Room and not one sales person even ask to help.

I get the feeling that at the Gun Room the employees aren't generally interested in guns; either that or they just aren't sociable. Wild Bills on the other hand, I can go there and just have a conversation about guns while checking some out and they still treat me like somebody who is spending lots of money.

I went there the other day and had a conversation with Tom about 1911s because I was thinking about buying a new one. He showed me his carry gun and was perfectly willing to just talk about 1911s. Wild Bills is my favorite gun shop in the Sac area.

Wild Bills is great. Its where I did all my lgs stuff when I lived in Clements. I would rather spend eternity with bad beer $h!t$ than ever step foot in the gun room again they are nothing but a bunch of rip off artists. I went in there to try to sell a ruger vaquero in 98% condition, they wanted to give me $100 for it. I tried buying a pistol there, they wouldnt deal at all, the gun room is nothing but a bunch of arrogant overpriced wannabe *******s.

Wild Bills is good folk, good selection of firearms and some weird stuff, but good folk.

Only downside to Wild Bills is that it's a warehouse environment and during the summers it could get pretty hot. They've got a nice staff, a lot of firearms with tons of stuff to look at if you do end up waiting in a line.

Only time I visit the Gun Room is for FTF transfers and the range. Their prices are hugely marked up on everything.
