    Guns destroyed in home fire.

A co worker had a few guns destroyed in a fire that engulfed his home.

I've searched online but may be using wrong search words,
How can he report to DOJ of the loss.

He does not need to do anything. But, there is a NLIP of form somewhere on their site if he really wants to give the gubmit more information than they need or should have.

LOL that or like those previously said, hand them over at a gun buyback and get something for them .

If the guns were destroyed and are not in danger of falling into scumbag hands and being used in a crime then I would not fill out the form. I bet they would make a great conversation piece for your coffee table and then when the storm troopers come youll have them to show...or turn them in to the next buyback then turn in the NLIP form.

If they're long guns the DOJ doesn't know about them unless they're registered assault weapons. Long gun registration doesn't start until the 1st of the year.
