    dont go to target master's

While waitting for an hour for a dros they took,4 people that walked in after,me. I have cash for a 1911 they said ppt has to wait. Treat ever customer the same. You never know who your next sale is. They wont even give us the paperwork to fill out for the buyer. Anthony said they need to check info first! Really is that because you cant read the paper work after? Theyworst ccustomer service ever. Big waist of time. They are charging $45 for they buyer on ppt. Jerks. Im in line if they take one more person that walked in after me I will have to return the money to the buyer and leave. An hour wait just to start a ppt when all other customers walked in after. That stupid. Will be hitting another shop,buy,a,1911. The Winchester 1912 shotgun they have is beat bad and they only want $500. Some good prices lots of bad. These guy cant count 240 hour ether. 11day wait here! $45 ppt fee. After an hour they started and now Anthony, went to the next guy. Im out

And this should come as no surprise to anyone, as the sub-par customer service has been discussed many times over on Calguns. But at least now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Yes, everything about Target Masters is horrible. Ghetto place with awful customer service. Old news.

Head up to Fremont to Annie's Guns (formerly Irvington Arms). I hate Target Masters and would never go there for a PPT. I have bought a few firearms from them because they had what I wanted at a decent price. BUT, paperwork that should take 15 minutes, takes at least an hour at Target Masters. The owner takes pride in his reputation as an ***hole.

Seriously, just do a search on google for calguns and targetmasters, you'll find hundreds of posts complaining about the place(and rightfully so).

Don't feel too bad about being made to wait an hour to start a PPT, if you had bought the 1911 there you might have been stuck waiting the 90 minutes to complete your transaction(I'm not saying 90 minutes to start, they're that damned slow), nevermind the 45 minute pickup.

The place sucks as a range, and it sucks as a gunshop.

For many in the Bay Area, a firearms purchase is a once in a lifetime purchase. Which means the LGS won't have to depend on return customers.

Targetmasters is the model of no return customers type of store.

I won't use their range either, I don't feel like dying.

Yeah Metal Dog Tactical is great for a PPT. Got in and out in about 15 minutes.

And @ J&R, it's a 10 minute process if they are busy and going slow, otherwise it's 5 minutes...like it should be!

That place is like a bowling alley and a great place to get muzzle swept. Not as bad and the Los Angeles Gun Club though.

I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

The messed up part is the buyer was going to drive to me! I had a family Christmas party today and it was on the way. So tried to do the right thing and help the buyer out so he would not to drive so far. Seem like no good deed goes un punished. Now the buyer is going to meet me an hour out of his way and wait an extra day and drive twice! Well wait it will be the same wait time our local shops are only a,ten day wait!
