CAn they legally hold my gun or am I **** out of luck?
Go to the DMV and get it fixed, then go to gun store.

This. Not sure if they will make you get a new registration, but a DMV driving record printout is only 5 bucks.

When I bought my first handgun I didn't have my current address on my ID so I went and changed it with DMV and got my printout at the same time. Worked just fine.

I guess cause I'm old or not paying attention (maybe both) I don't ever recall being asked for two ID's. I plop down my DL and I'm GTG.

What does an extra "A" have to do with your registration being co-signed?
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Move out of your parents house and get some utility bills.

lol, I didn't see anything about a "handgun" in the OP but your right. I haven't bought a handgun in years, in fact all the handguns I own were bought before registration. I don't even have a HSC

I guess I will next year

Some countries' last names are slightly different for male and female family members, so perhaps the DMV or car dealer was confused and used her last name, not his. I'm thinking of Russian names in particular ("-ova" for females vs. "-ov" for males).

                      Just a guess.
