But if it is legit what I think is funny is that they are brilliant enough to figure that sh** out but not that revving the engine does nothing for putting more power from the battery or alternator haha

In other words the revving is a noob move when jumping a car.

It's 12vDC not 120vAC so touching the receivers won't jolt you. The dangerous spots are the contact points as that's where the resistance points are, specifically where the cleaning rods touch the stocks and where they touch the batteries. Those spots could get a bit warm/molten.

not a noob move, as when the battery on my car died, unless i kept it under slight throttle it would die instantly.
