Another reason all my gun purchases are from here or dealer direct.

I don't trust ebay and why type sites. Their systems are flawed. FTF or nothing.

I have heard from multiple long-time reputable sellers on Gunbroker, Auction Arms, and Gunsamerica discovering their photos of the guns they were legitimately selling on these sites, were being copied/linked/pasted to BS Nigerian scam sales-posts on Armslist in large numbers.

There have even been a couple scams by those types attempted here on Calguns in the past; but they didn't last long.

Be doubtful of most anything on Armslist before proceeding.

            Guns and cars scam.

This guy has been doing it for years with both guns, classic cars and tools. if you see the name or phone number used flag it or report it. His scam works by asking for a small down payment into his account to hold the item and he's gone and so is your money.

Maybe I can use some of my unclaimed Nigerian lottery winnings to buy some firearms!

Hell, we need a scam alert for CGN and other gun forums too it seems! As fo not doing GB or EBay business for fear of a scam I'd not worry about it with well recognized sellers in good standing. Ebay is also very slanted in favoritism to buyers and has many safeguards for them.

False. C&R now requires FFL intervention; no more cash-n-carry since the beginning of this year.
