Im not sure if this has been done yet, but lets create a real time network of current scams for gun sales..... I have recently run into multiple scams on armslist and would like to inform fellow Calgunners of these scam artists. I recently inquired about three separate guns on ARMSLIST and was given the same response for each gun(in broken english). I would hate for a fellow gun lover to be ripped off! Lets put these scumbags out of business!

- This gun is posted in multiple states and the responder is clearly of nigerian decent.

-This guy gave me an almost identical response for a gun i inquired about. Scam artist as well. He gave me an address to send my money order, when i looked up the address it was a vacant house that was currently for sale..... yes, they were planning on stopping by the house, taking the check and i would never see the scammer again......Bastards!

I actually talked to him on the phone! I have a good friend from Nigeria... He was a nigerian scammer!

easiest way is don't do any deals that can't be done face to face? i mean in CA that is almost a given since we require a FFL for non-C&R transfers.

Any time I look at things on line I look for grammar and punctuation. You can still get scammed though. Gotta be careful out there on those inter webs.

I wish people would use commas and periods when writing.

If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.
