I had a bad experience with a junior member and wanted some advice on what I should do about it. It is a long story so I will try to keep it short. I had a handgun for sell and a member PM'd and texted me he would buy the gun for my asking price that day. When I asked where he wanted to do the PPT he sounded very ignorant about the process so I tried to educate him. He came back with "can't you just sell me the gun with no paperwork". When I said no because it was against the law he started stalling on when and where we would meet. He again asked if I would sell with no paperwork. So now he backs out of the deal and I realize he was playing me. I confront him about it and he finally admits he has had trouble with the law and cannot pass a background check.
I'm pissed at this point and give him a severe lecture which I think he received.
So what should I do about it? I am hesitant to go any further with it but this was very blatant. He knew the rules from the start and lied, played ignorant and tried to dupe me into selling the gun. In the end he did fess up and apologized but said he was not playing me. Should I let this go? Is there a place on the forum to talk to staff about this? Thanks for your advice.
