I think I have this right, somebody believes that nra members and/or gun owners are blood thirsty murders so the natural reaction is to vandalize property. Its like hearing about road rage or aggressive actions towards somebody that is believed to be instigated by some type of gun related image. Makes me think they dont really believe all gun owners are psycho and if they do they really are not thinking it through very well.

I've been rolling around with an NRA sticker on my rear window for 16 years. Last year I added a CRPA sticker for good measure. Never any issues with any LE or anti. In fact, the only time I've ever been pulled over was in 2000 and I wasn't even driving my own car (obviously with no sticker on it).

Ummmm, I think those vehicles are considered defaced by default. But still, I've never defaced the stickers...

Couple of cars ago, I had an NRA and a Ducks Unlimited sticker on my back window.. I had a cop actually NOT give me a ticket because of them.

I had my oil drained out of my vehicle, then my differential tampered with. All while I had a pro gun sticker on my vehicle. I tend to drive pretty conservatively and there's no way to tell if there was another motive for someone to do this. I am new to the Bay Area and have no known enemies. I caught the no oil situation luckily but then had my rear end go out, my pinion nut was loosened and retaining pins were taken out of the driveshaft yokes. My truck was totaled as when the rear end seized, the driveshaft dropped, ruined the transfer case and the tranny. This ruined my finances. Insurance and police investigated (briefly I may add) police dropped it (said they will watch the area closely) and so did the insurance after the investigation came up it had been tampered with but no suspects and a MECHANICAL failure not a wreck. If I had hit a wall or car, it would have been covered by insurance. I am so frustrated, I got a new sticker and more importantly a warranty on my new truck. I will have some cameras soon as my truck won't fit in the garage. I will tell you guys I have never experienced such disrespect in my life. Furthermore in the heat of the moment it's a very good thing I didn't catch them in the act as it would have been hard to act in a civil manner and not go to jail. I'm not a mean guy, I feel I didn't deserve this and it hope this doesn't happen to you.

Oh and my friend a few blocks over had a spark plug chunked through his rear window. It had a NRA sticker on it.
