is there really a need for this?

i recently ordered a Henry catalog just to browse, and to my surprise it came with a pro gun sticker. figuring what the heck i stuck it on the bumper of my car. i get up this morning to discover that it has been torn off and someone wrote "murderer" on the white residue that remained... needless to say it surprised me as all my neighbors are gun owners and since my house is on a dead end street it doesn't exactly get much foot traffic.

Has anyone else experienced stuff like this happening? and is there really a need to do this?

Prolly someone just trying to get your goat.
Set up a trail camera and put a new sticker on your bumper.

amazing this kind of behavior still goes on. I would do what post #3 said and put a NRA or a sticker that says "guns don't kill people, people kill people" sticker on the back and put a camera from your house pointed at your car.

Under the sticker, make sure you put, "smile, you're on candid camera".

Do any of the neighbors have teenage daughters? My guess would be that one of their boy friends did it to show how liberal they are, in order to get at the punani.

And +1 on the trail cam and new sticker. When you find out who did, put a pro gun sticker on their car!
          Sorry, not sorry.

unfortunately i'm the "young gun" in the neighbor hood... i have a feeling it was someone looking at a house that is for sale 2 doors down.

While living in Vegas i had an NRA sticker on my back window. Working at acasino i walked out to the lot to find my drivers window shattered. Surveillance showed it was a guy parked behind me. He was still passed out in his Prius when i left. Didnt see video till next day.

Funny, I used to have a '64 Falcon that was in a constant state of restoration (another story) but I had that Hitler quote bumper sticker on it. I never had a single issue nor did I ever hear of anyone else having issues with pro 2A stickers. Not until recently did I ever even hear of this type of stuff happening.

Last year I did some work at a non-profit organization in Los Angeles called TreePeople. They occupy and maintain Coldwater Canyon Park off Mulholland.

After a couple of days on the site, one of the directors asked me to park my truck at the far end of the lot and back it into the spot, because I had an NRA sticker on my back windshield and he felt that this would offend some of the visitors (celebrity jag-offs) to the park.

I complied, but now the work I was doing is complete and I got paid, I occasionally I walk my dogs up there and i always make a point to park right in the front spots with my bumper in full view of the park entrance. Eat that TreePeople.

Seems like the recent anti-gun bull**** has given these leaches new bravery...

Disgusting really. See a lot of Obama stickers never once thought about defacing one.

You could use the old trick of scoring the sticker with a razor blade making it harder to remove since it won't come off in one piece. Probably wouldn't do it on body panels but on glass it should work.

The problem with putting gun stickers on your car is it is a magnet for police/LE
they tend to want to search your car for weapons
