Safeway has a new sticker out front

Atleast this is the first time I've ever seen it. (sorry if this was posted before)

It says "No Firearms Allowed"



It's a very small sticker that you really have to look for at the entrance to the store.

I don't know if it's a company wide deal or just regional.

I've found a total of two. One at the Safeway in Lincoln and one in Carmichael.

Sucks. I really liked their fried chicken! This is/was the primary place my family shopped for groceries and filled up with gas.

Oh well, not any more.

Concealed carry means no one knows. They won't know if you don't tell them. Don't let their anti 2A bias keep you from your chicken!

I understand the concealed carry part of it. What did they mean then? I'm required to abide by the rules of the store. Which type of firearms did they mean? Obviously not open carry. That only leaves us ccw'ers.

They probably did me a favor about the chicken. My waistline will thank me! lol...

Make up some that are in the same font that say:

No shoplifting allowed

Stick them under the other stickers

Yeah they are small, I've seen them since about 2 years ago. Might as well just print a larger sticker that simply says "ROB US"

Not illegal to carry there if you have a CCW. The worst that can happen is that they ask you to leave the premises.

Using their logic, If there is no signage stating" shoplifting is not allowed, " or "craping on aisle 9 is not allowed"
Those activities must be ok be then?

If they somehow saw my CCW under my shirt, I would leave if asked to do so.

Someone needs to make stickers bearing the following notice and place them under the "No Firearms" signs:

NOTICE TO ALL CRIMINALS: The owner of this store has prohibited law-abiding citizens from carrying defensive firearms. You are free to rob this store and assault the employees and customers without fear of being stopped.

#9 Possess weapon any place where prohibited by law or sign.

Entering that store would be breaking the law.

I totally understand what you're saying about ccw meaning concealed, but if you have a ccw issued from Placer county, you are breaking the law. I'm not trying to be a prick. I'm personally kinda pissed at their politics.

I already refuse to shop at Safeway. Now I have another reason. On the other hand unless the issuing authority made compliance with that sign a condition of the permit I would probably not see the sign.
