Congrats! They are great, big value, accurate rifles!
Fine stock but even better when you put it in a Boyds stock and put a DIP trigger on em.

I found a 795 with metal sling studs, a scope, bipod and the rifle sights removed after the fact for 180. Oh well.

I have a very old sears scope that i might mount on it for now. Just gotta find the rings it came with or buy new ones. But i found two 100rd boxes in store for 7.99ea. Currently bringing my marlin home after i grab a late lunch.

Little too late! I seen a beautiful savage 22lr package but it was i believe called a 64fxp, same price as what i left with the marlin for. I could not find any huge following for it so i decided to skip it this time around. But now i have two 22lr's a marlin 795 and my ar15 conversion. I will check into this fv and maybe in a few weeks ill be owning one as well.

When you throw in the fun factor, the Henry 22 out shoots any bolt gun (maybe not the Mosin)

I wish I could find a few bricks of shorts. Its the most fun we have had shooting, ever.

I'd like to get my hands on one of those Savage rifles..I've read good things about em..

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Just put some rounds through it shooting at a cup at about 25yds. Its pretty dang accurate with these sights. So far some mods im looking at is seeing if i can drill a hole near the end of the stock and mount a magpul rail so i can mount a flashlight for night time hunts.

Todays quick review. I went a little overboard today. What was supposed to be 20-40rds ended up being around 400rds no hiccups. Also just picked up a scope and rings. Gotta get more ammo.
