Last time atf started some bs fiat rulemaking Denny Rehberg had an amendment that barred them from ever trying to ban a shotgun that had already been allowed for import prior to jan 1, 2011. Atf was trying to ban saiga12 and veprs as "not having a sporting purpose".

Now they want to force CLEO sign off for everyone on a gun trust, this will reduce nfa item acquisition by estimated 75%. How about we get a bill passed that says aow, sbr, sbs, and silencer don't need NFA stamps anyways, you can't change the rules from what they are, and stfu.

Well I'm going to contact some congress critters after I talk to the american silencer associtation. I totally think its doable. Scary shotguns are no less scary to an anti than a short gun or a quiet one as they are all guns and the shotgun import ban was blocked.

This change is expensive, burdensome, pretends to address a problem that does no exist, and is really aimed at destroying family privacy once all of our weapons fall under the NFA, eventually (at least that is their goal).
