Good start. I'd recommend a pump shotgun and a double action revolver. Maybe a S&W 686 or the Ruger GP100. Every collection should have a wheel gun.

I think a shotgun purchase is in order but in regard to the 770, I have one and I actually like it! Its not a 700 and for the price, its not supposed to be. However, for annual hunting trips, I think its great.
