Here is the range in question. http://www.americanmarksman.com

From what I understand, it was purchased by a retired Marine COL with a business plan to sell franchises. Apparently that isn't working out.

I shot out at this range last week. It has 7 operating lanes with three being restored / reconverted from an interactive shooting simulator to bring the total back to 10 lanes.

Located right next to Gillespie Field in Santee. Nice clean facility seems to be well run. Both of the guys who were working in there at the time (who's names I forgot) were very friendly. The backstop appears to be made from ground rubber pellets (?). There were 8 people shooting and the ventilation was good. The only down side it has is it's only 50 feet. Oh, the electronic target pulleys allow you to set target distance from anywhere between 3 & 50 feet.

-Duct tape is like The Force. It has a dark side. It has a light side.
Used correctly, it holds the universe together. Used
incorrectly, it sticks your cat to the wall. -
