        Your actual cost only.

Anything more, and you're a scammer and sooner rather than later he'll find out that's a $500 gun and you sold him 100 rounds for $250....

Though I think I know already what you're going to do since you couldnt figure it out for yourself, and actually ASKED on a forum....

Not cool! Unless he's a tool, and you (or he) are planning to move soon after the sale.

          Don't be that guy.

The OPs question sounds like the guy who would steal your wallet after you help him fix his flat tire.

If you're selling it for more than he can buy it new, including all the taxes then you're ripping him off. Why take advantage of your neighbor? I'm all for selling at the market rate but shouldn't you be telling him where he could buy it cheaper? He's your neighbor, right? And you'd cross that line for extra $100?

Agreed, come on OP, let him have it for near cost. Seriously it's a used gun even thou it's virgin down the pipe. You don't have to use your time and gas to list, draw paperwork, he's doing you a favor, do what you would want done to you.

I think the answer is because that's the nature of the OP. For many of us, this question wouldn't even come up.

I have a similar kind of neighbor. Storing his gun, always asking for help on something he is capable of but too lazy...

                            GOUGE HIM!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Someone can't take advantage of you like that unless you allow him to. I'd say you're enabling him.

The OP did say "he is in sales" so that explains a lot. Perhaps he got his start selling cars.

It's like the guys in the Marines that would go around the barracks asking "do I need a haircut?" They KNOW they need a haircut and are just looking for someone to help them rationalize that they don't. Something that's telling about them though, was they NEVER asked an NCO that question.
