Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
No posts of mine are to be construed as legal advice, which can only be given by a lawyer. -
^This. They will show if the paperwork was processed. I had to do a AFS request to make sure mine were registered. The jacknuts never sent me the confirmation that they processed my form. They were in fact listed on the AFS request. Can't you fill out a request for firearms records ? http://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/ag...teCitizen.pdf?
Even though it's a long gun,if it was registered as an AW it might show.. worth a try ?__________________________________________________ _____________

Reference 2. He is screwed if it is banned by name and didn't register with the PROC. If they are banned by name he could convert it to a single shot and this ridiculous state would still consider it an unreg AW. If not banned by name someone could just change the characteristics (ie add a BB) and make it PROC legal. Well at least until Brown signs 374.An associate has told me that he possesses an Arsenal SLR-95 AK, which is banned by name. He gave me a timeframe in which he purchased it (93-94) but is not sure whether he had registered it or not as he has traveled throughout the country on military orders.
1. how can he find out if he had infact registered it as an AW?
2. If possible, how can he register it as an AW...or has that timeframe been missed?
Thank you for your informed responses.Last edited by StuckInTheP.R.O.Ca; 10-09-2013, 8:45 PM.__________________________________________________ _____________
