gotta be an arm and a leg, but an M60D (aircraft version with spade grips) would be california legal if they took the flash hider off.
Anybody ever heard of these guys or know anything about the guns?
Started surfing around after seeing the semi auto mag58, and ended up there.

What are the semi auto belt fed options, besides a 1919?
HK21, mag58, M60.....

MG34 & 42, but you can't do spade grips on those so you couldn't get it....

A 1919 will be the cheapest option out there period. There are belt fed .17 mach 2 and .22 out there but those are still in the $2000+ range. As well as an RPD, a belt fed 7.62x39 ak.

Belt fed = lots of money but also lot's of fun.

As far as belt fed and the 10 round limit; are there 10 round boxes? Or do you just need to make sure you don't link more than 10 rounds at a time?
Are there preban boxes/links?
I assume you could link more than 10 rounds on a featureless build.

Ohio Ordinance had a limited run of semi-auto M240s recently.

Yeah, I was looking at the ohio ordnance 240, problem is though, it has a pistol grip so is a no no, and for that cash I can get an M2 and a 1919 and some ammo.
Unless ohio ord can do an M240D, with spade grips?
As far as I understand, you can't link more than 10 rounds together?

I"m not sure a semi M60D would need to remove the flash hider, it's not technically a rifle in CA since it doesn't have a shoulder stock nor is it designed to be fired from the shoulder.

I've been to Desert Ordnance, their workmanship and parts are first class. They work on nfa M60's also, had some fun stuff there.

The semi M240 is very expensive already, but if you can afford it the extra 1K for the spade grip set should be nothing.

Last pricing I saw for a NIB semi-auto M240 was $13,500.
At that price, you can buy about seven semi-auto 1919s.
