I can tell you it doesn't work for speeding in Sweet Water, TX in the JP court They do though happily accept both cash & traveler's checks.

Before you spelling folks let me know that Sweet Water should be a single word, for some reason the censor system won't let it through. Otoh, I just figured it out.

A friend of mine once got locked out of his safe and he used his AAA Auto Club card. They came by and replaced the lock as if it were a tow or locked-out-of-car call.

It's not broken, really ......

Got up this morning. Went to put my handgun back into the safe for the day and the dam thing would not open. I tried it about 6 times with no luck. Ended up dropping off the handgun at a friends before I headed off to work. This should be fun.

You must have the new "CA Approved" safe that's remotely controlled from Sacramento. You don't really think you're responsible enough to decide when you can get your hands on more than one gun, do you? Besides, you were already holding a pistol (I'll bet it was loaded, shame on you) why would you need another? Planning a rampage?

I would just drop it a couple of times and then give it a try.

If you dont care about the safe a good long pry bar will usually do the trick and not harm the contents.
I would not recommend this however unless you are really strapped for cash... otherwise, locksmith

Try your combo by increasing each number by one or decreasing each number by one. Sometimes this works. Also if this does not work try hitting your safe above the combo with a rubber mallet while entering your combo. Also try pulling out on the dial when you engage the last number and go to open it. You do not want to have to drill out the lock, it is a pain. If you do manage to get it open, do not close and lock it again. Get a safe guy to come out and look at it. I know this because I had one of my safes do this same thing to me, and these are the troubleshooting techniques I was given. Also the combo locks are very sensitive and fragile.

I had a Sentry break under warrnaty, whats yours? They paid for me to take it to a local locksmith and he basically took an hour or so to bash/drill and cut it open in front of his shop! I actually threw the safe with about 50 handguns in it in the back of my truck and took it to the locksmith!

They sent me a new safe. Dont load safes to max capacity and then jam the door shut, that seems to have caused an issue with it locking up so tight.

I got home last night and pounded it with a rubber mallet above the dial and jiggle the hell out of the safe handle and it opened. Wierd. The safe does have a life time warranty so I am calling them up . I am hoping I dont have to haul it somewhere because it weighs like 860 pounds empty.

I can honestly say I am buying a cutting torch for emergencies. I dont see how else I would be able to get this thing open in am emergency.
