Marlin Camp Carbine, I heard of semi-auto Reisings somewhere, and there must be MAC-10 clones somewhere.

I saw a piece on the outdoor channel on them. Needless to say the review wasn't very good. I guess if you were using it at 50 yards it might do the job.

Thats a beauty. How about options that use unmodified 1911 mags?

I picked up a kriss a few weeks ago ( hand a hk USC on order but changed my mind when I saw the kriss ).

Had a few minor issues with it so far. Put about 50 rounds thru it. Had a few jams. And charging the weapon was a serious pain but after some research and talking to cs at kriss found that the spring for the charging handle is very stiff and just needs to be broken in.

I will wait to put a few more rounds through it b4 I say I like it or not or sell it.

I love my KRISS. It is fun to shoot my only complaint is the bullet button it is a POS to release mags. You almost have to jam a stick into the button.

You can build an AR carbine in .45 acp they make lowers for them. Finding the magazines however is another issue.

I too was looking for a carbine in 45 acp. I love my Kriss Vector. Already have 1000 rounds thru her. No issues. Must only shoot factory 230 grain FMJ. Accurate up to 25 yards. Made for close quarter engagements. Pricey, but well worth it......

Marlin Camp Carbine, as I mentioned above.
