This is why we can't have nice things.
Since you have so few feedbacks and are so worried about your rating, just create a new account and start over whiled armed with this revelation that there are whining D-bags everywhere.

Make a deal and both of you remove your feedback. That is an old eBay trick until eBay removed the retaliation feedback issue.

I wouldn't be scared of some ******* on GB. I would switch my rating to a "F" on him and describe exactly what happened. I would also report him to GB and send them the voicemail

yea if I only used gunbroker for buying I could care less about my feedback. I would leave an exact explanation on his feedback and drop to an F, make a new account and buy something really cheap from him and leave another F. Then make another account

              BUT ...

Charlie Bacon, who lives across the street, said he didn't know the Gerbigs well, but they have been good neighbors for much of the 30 years he has lived there.

              "They're very nice folks."

              SURE...

After seeing that article, the seller has more serious problems than dealing with some bad feedback.

I bought some rebuild kits from a seller on Gunbroker last month. As it goes with gunbroker, I overpaid by about 10%, but I need the rebuild kits for an out of state trip I'm taking next week.

The seller (over) charged me for USPS priority mail but substituted plain old first class mail without asking or telling me. I found out when the tracking number showed "first class" instead of "priority mail." I asked the seller about this and wasn't given an answer.

The rebuild kits were pictured and advertised as new in box. The seller didn't ship the original boxes. I didn't want to make a fuss, but I asked the seller why anyways. The seller ignored me.

I finally got the rebuild kits 2 weeks later. The next morning I left gunbroker feedback of "B" for the 2 listings for the seller and noted that the seller charged for priority mail but used first class mail instead and that I didn't get the boxes. Then I moved on.

Last night I'm browsing gunbroker and notice my feedback has gone down. It turns out the seller changed his earlier "A+" feedback for the 2 listings to "B"s to match what I left for him. His comment stated only this: "SLOW PAYMENT AND FEEDBACK FROM BUYER."

I emailed the seller to ask why he did this. I the email I included that I mailed payment less than 24 hours after he emailed me the invoice and that the money order was delivered the very next business day. I also mentioned that I left him feedback less than 24 hours after I received my rebuild kits. I also told him that the rebuild kits took a week to get to me rather than the 2-3 days it would have taken with priority mail.

This morning I got a voice mail from the seller telling me that if I didn't change my feedback to "A"s, that he would leave me "F" feedback and report me to gunbroker. I've uploaded the voice mail here: https://soundcloud.com/rekcahtlin/gu...cemail/s-gbMeQ

What should I do? This seems to me an obvious abuse of the feedback system.
Report the seller to gunbroker and send them the link to the voice mail - problem solved.

After reading that article I wouldn't be doing any business with that guy. I can't believe after that he is engaging in anything even close to firearms related. You would think he would stay on the DL and try and keep from going to jail. His GB rating should be the least of his worries.
