Thats not a 14/19..... Star had a number of models where the designs from different guns were "blended". More like transitional models...

But with no markings it would be almost impossible to determine.....

It does have some Star-like design elements, but the slide seems significantly different and how the barrel attaches to the frame does as well. Overall the design seems simpler/more elegant. And the frame/barrel is different too. The barrel/feed ramp piece attaches to the frame with the two screws.

The slide almost has beretta-ish (i.e. 92) shape with the different (obvious from the pictures) round part.

Also, all the Stars I am seeing in that design do not seem to have the euro style mag release.

I'd like to see a picture of this, but you're going to have to show it because I can't find ANYTHING on "Star Model 14/19." My Google-fu must be weak today.

Have you disassembled it and recorded all the markings? Is there anything written under the grips or on the back side of them?

I have not taken it completely apart... but I have take the slide off, barrel/ramp out and the grips off... the only markings seem to be the serial number. It is stamped on the left side of the frame, top of the barrel, and the rear top of the slide.

Looks like a hand built gun using the rear half of a Frommer stop and the front half of that Star as inspiration..
