Most of us started DROS on the 17th/18th and were told we're out of luck since it was dropped because Ruger changed something on the slide. As far as I know the only way your FFL could release it to you is if it was dropped because Ruger didn't renew it's permit.

I will for sure, I wonder why they didn't call you before you went to pick up? Surely they had to have found out before you got there. Its just over an hour drive for me I would hope they call. That way I can at least plan on bringing some more money to buy something different!

The barrel can't just be removed with a simple field strip (as far as I can tell) so that makes SSE more of a challenge. I still am curious what type of change to the slide was made.

I would plan on buying something else. If your able to pick up the sr22 more power to you but if you can't prepare to buy something else. I started DROS on a m&p22 Turners in Torrance dropped the price to $349.
