Saw something unusual in WalMart.

I was waiting for my wife at the front of the store and I saw a kid about 8 or 9 years old with a western style gun belt and a toy western revolver.

I think it must have been handed down from his Dad because it was black with wood grain plastic grips, not flourescent blue or orange with an orange tip.

Did my heart good to see a kid that gets to play with toy guns.

SWAT did not storm the WalMart, at least not while I was there.

My 2 nephews 5 and 2 are total gun nuts. Any thing from the old pop cork gun all the way up to our old hand me down guns and holsters from the 60's.

Of course when you need to get their attention you just have to pull out the old finger gun and go pwew pwew, turns every frown into a smile.

Me too. Actually saw some Federal 9mm being put out on the shelf at my local Wally today ($15 for 50 round box). This store never has anything except .270 so this was quite an event.

I'm amazed he had western style guns...how many kids you know still play Cowboys & Indians?

My nephews like Blasters and light sabers\swords...six shooters are not cool!

Well 9mm is 1.10 a round for JHP federal. They got a case and it was gone in about 2 hrs.
